The Bean soup is a product made by Di Nunzio through the selection of a variety of primary quality beans, enhancing the flavor and nutritional completeness of the soups. The Di Nunzio bean soup includes: Cannellini beans, Borlotti beans, Cocos beans, Tondini Perla beans, Piattelli beans, Brown beans, Black beans, black eyed beans. On request, blends with spelled, pearl barley and parboiled rice are also available.
How to heat the product:
• In a traditional pan;
• In a water bath by immersing the bag in hot water and heating it for 5 minutes;
• In the microwave, pour into a plate and heat for 3 minutes at 750 W.
Bean and Spelled Soup
Ingredients for 4 people:
• 400 gr of bean soup
• 100 gr of spelled
• 1 onion
• 1 carrot
• q.b. bay leaf, vegetable broth
• extra virgin olive oil, salt, peppercorns
* visual inspection is recommended before cooking
Cook the spelled to the desired consistency.
Chop the carrot and onion; sauté everything in a drizzle of Apulian extra virgin olive oil, together with a bay leaf, then add the bean soup and about 2 liters of vegetable broth.
Cover and let it boil for 3 minutes. Add the spelled to the beans. Season the soup with a pinch of salt, a generous grinding of pepper and a drizzle of raw Apulian extra virgin olive oil. Serve the dish while still hot.
