The legume soup is a product made by Di Nunzio through the selection of a variety of prime quality legumes with similar tastes, enhancing the flavor and nutritional completeness of the soups. The Di Nunzio legume soup includes: cannellini, round, black, brown and borlotti beans, red lentils, green mignon lentils, hulled lentils, laird lentils, chickpeas, shelled broad beans, whole and shelled peas, white cicerchia. On request, blends with spelled, pearl barley and parboiled rice are also available.

How to heat the product:

• In a traditional pan; • In a water bath by immersing the bag in hot water and heating it for 5 minutes; • In the microwave, pour into a plate and heat for 3 minutes at 750 W.

Legume and barley soup

    Ingredients for 4 people:
    • 400 gr of Legume Soup
    • 100 gr of barley
    • 1 onion
    • 1 carrot
    • q.b. bay leaf, vegetable broth
    • extra virgin olive oil, salt, peppercorns
    * visual inspection is recommended before cooking
    Cook the spelled to the desired consistency. Chop the carrot and onion; sauté everything in a drizzle of Apulian extra virgin olive oil, together with a bay leaf, then add the Legume Soup and about 2 liters of vegetable broth.
    Cover and let it boil for 3 minutes. Combine the barley with the legumes. Season the soup with a pinch of salt, a generous grinding of pepper and a drizzle of raw Apulian extra virgin olive oil.
    Serve the dish while still hot.
